Pronunciation
The Turkish language is the official language of Turkey and is also widely spoken in Cyprus and among diaspora communities across the world.
The modern Turkish alphabet consists of 29 letters: eight vowels (a, e, ı, i, o, ö, u, ü) and 21 consonants. Turkish's phonetic nature enables a direct correspondence between letters and sounds.
